The light rail has brought Third Street one of the best connections to downtown of any neighborhood in San Francisco, and as reported by Simon Perez when interviewing neighbors, “without a doubt this has changed the neighborhood for the better.” Or as Eyewitness News anchorwoman Dana King summed up Carroll Station in one line, “there’s definitely a cool vibe right there.”
